Longevity entrepreneur Peter Diamandis featured in the Wall Street Journal on aging

Fountain Life founder Peter Diamandis was recently featured in the Wall Street Journal article, “Americans in their 80s and 90s are redefining old age.”

The article centered on older Americans who are redefining aging by participating in workout classes, learning new hobbies, and participating in social groups to keep physically and mentally sharp. The article also touched on the growth of longevity-focused enterprises such longevity clinics, conferences, and technologies.

For the past decade, Diamandis has not only focused on optimizing his own health, but has heavily invested in the field of longevity and research to safely extend the human healthspan. In addition to being a co-founder of Fountain Life, Diamandis is also the founder and chair of the XPRIZE Foundation which launched the XPRIZE Healthspan competition in 2023.

Competitors are tasked with the challenge of finding a therapeutic that can reverse the loss of function in three key bodily systems - muscle, immune system and cognition with the ultimate goal of adding an extra 10-20 healthy years to a person’s life.
